Fernandez, D.O., specializes in cardiology and interventional cardiovascular medicine. He received his medical degree from Michigan State University’s College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed his residency in internal medicine at Ingham Regional Medical Center.

Fernandez has completed fellowships in both cardiology and interventional cardiology and has pursued specialized training in vascular medicine. He is trained in echocardiography, transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear medicine, peripheral vascular interventions, and venous disease. Fernandez is fluent in Spanish and is also a member of the American Osteopathic Association and the American College of Osteopathic Internists.
